Precautions for containerized wastewater treatment plant

Mar 05, 2025

1. Installation Site Selection
The installation site must be selected in a geologically stable and flat area to avoid equipment tilting due to ground subsidence or unevenness, which will affect the operation of the internal treatment process. At the same time, the surrounding environment should be fully considered, and it should be away from densely populated areas such as residential areas and schools to prevent noise and odor from disturbing the public. In addition, the site should be close to the sewage source, shorten the length of the water inlet pipeline, and reduce the energy consumption and cost of transportation, but it should also be noted that a safe distance should be maintained from the sewage source to prevent risks such as sewage backflow.

2. Operation and Maintenance
Regularly check the various parts of the equipment, such as pumps, valves, pipes, etc., to check for wear and leakage. If the impeller of the pump is worn, it will affect the amount of sewage lifting and needs to be replaced in time; if the valve is not tightly sealed, it is easy to cause leakage and affect the treatment process. Daily monitoring of treated water quality should be carried out, and the treatment process parameters should be adjusted in time according to changes in water quality. For example, if the concentration of pollutants in the water quality increases, the aeration time can be appropriately extended and the amount of reagents added can be increased. In addition, the equipment should be maintained according to regulations, such as adding lubricating oil to the motor to ensure its smooth operation and extend the service life of the equipment.

3. Safety Management
When the equipment is running, there is a risk of electric shock in the electrical part. It is necessary to ensure that the electrical lines are installed in accordance with the specifications and grounded reliably. Operators must receive professional training and operate in strict accordance with the operating procedures. Harmful gases such as hydrogen sulfide and methane will be generated during the treatment process. It is necessary to ensure that the equipment is well ventilated and install gas detection and alarm devices in places where gases are easily accumulated to prevent poisoning and explosion accidents. At the same time, the noise generated by the operation of the equipment may damage the hearing of the operator. Protective equipment such as earplugs should be provided, and working hours should be arranged reasonably to reduce the time that personnel are exposed to high noise environments.
