What Is The Cause Of Bubbles in Sewage Treatment Plants?

Mar 19, 2022

Before environmental protection, I received a consultation from an old customer. After the equipment has been used for two or three years, why does the bubble girl appear when treating wastewater?

Today, the environmental protection editor will answer it for you.

Foaming in sewage treatment plants may be related to the following 4 points:

1. During the treatment process, the temperature of the wastewater is high, resulting in large particle foam.

2. In the wastewater, there are more residual drugs, so many bubbles will be produced.

3. It will also be a difficult problem in biochemical processing. If the foam is milky white and easy to break, it means that the dissolved oxygen is insufficient and the water leakage load is large.

4. The other is the problem of the equipment itself, such as the management of the flow booster, or the addition of a large amount of PAC, and the flow back will also cause a part of the foam to increase.

When there are more bubbles, how to solve it?

1. Spraying water: The rapidly sprayed running water or water droplets can smash the bubbles floating on the river surface, and a part of the silt particles that are scattered can restore the foundation settlement characteristics again, which can reduce the foam. By spraying water, foam can be reduced, and if self-spraying is performed on the aerobic pool, the actual effect of long-term anti-foaming can be exceeded. Although it cannot be suppressed in many ways, it is a very simple and most common physical method.
