The MBBR mini wastewater treatment plant (moving bed biofilm reactor) is used to remove organic matter, nitrification and denitrification. It is an economical solution for waste water treatment if it is necessary to deal with the "massive" of the pollution load or if the applicable emission regulations are not so strict.

How It Works?
The main principle of MBBR mini wastewater treatment plant is the activated sludge aeration system where the sludge is collected on recycled plastic carriers. These carriers have an internal large surface for optimal contact water, air and bacteria.
The activated sludge grows on the internal surface of the carriers and consumes organic matter from the waste water. The aeration system keeps the carrier and activated sludge moving. With only additional bacterial growth, the remaining sludge is separated from the carrier and flows with the treated water to the final separator.
The system can consist of a one stage or more stage system, depending on the specific effluent quality demands. The specific sludge remains in their own duty tank because the carriers remain in only one tank, protected by screens.

Solution
This mini wastewater treatment plant consists of three system: DAF, MBBR and Clarifier.
1. The grid be used to remove the larger impurities.
