Printing and Dyeing Wastewater Treatment Process

Apr 22, 2022

For the printing and dyeing wastewater discharged up to the standard and under the management, on the basis of engineering practice and experimental research, combined with the requirements of "energy saving, emission reduction and reuse" of printing and dyeing wastewater, several sets of relatively perfect printing and dyeing wastewater reclaimed water reuse processes have been established.

Sand filter+UF+RO/NF treatment process
After the printing and dyeing wastewater is treated by the pretreatment process, the CODcr in the wastewater, the suspended solids and turbidity in the wastewater are reduced, and the wastewater enters the ultrafiltration treatment system to remove the smaller suspended solids, turbidity and chromaticity before entering the subsequent RO/NF The treatment system intercepts the pollutants in the wastewater, separates and concentrates the pollutants, and makes the effluent meet the water quality requirements for production and reuse.

Pretreatment + RO/NF treatment process
After the printing and dyeing wastewater is treated by traditional biochemical or physicochemical processes, it passes through the effluent of the secondary sedimentation tank (the effluent quality is better), and the suspended solids and CODcr in the wastewater are effectively treated. The supernatant of the secondary sedimentation tank is further removed by the filter tank or high-efficiency sedimentation technology to further remove the suspended solids and turbidity in the wastewater, so that the effluent SDI reaches the requirement of <5, and then enters the subsequent RO/NF treatment system to retain the pollutants in the wastewater. The separation and concentration of pollutants make the effluent meet the water quality requirements for production and reuse.
Pretreatment system: This system uses sand filter, fast filter or high-efficiency sedimentation technology to further remove suspended solids and turbidity in wastewater, which is the requirement that the effluent SDI reaches <5.

MCR/MBR+RO/NF treatment process
After the printing and dyeing wastewater is treated by traditional processes or the low-concentration wastewater has not been treated, the concentration of organic pollutants and suspended solids in the wastewater is relatively high. Through the MCR or MBR treatment technology, the organic pollutants and suspended solids in the wastewater can be reduced. The RO/NF treatment system can intercept the pollutants in the wastewater, so that the effluent can meet the water quality requirements of the reused water.

Membrane-bioreactor process (MBR process) is a new wastewater treatment technology that organically combines membrane separation technology and biotechnology. It uses membrane separation equipment to intercept the activated sludge and macromolecular organic substances in the biochemical reaction tank, separates clean water, realizes the simultaneous biochemical reaction and clean water separation, and saves the secondary sedimentation tank.
The compact and compact unit structure of MBR is especially suitable for the treatment of printing and dyeing wastewater with complex components and high pollutant concentration.

Advantages of MBR process:
* High treatment efficiency, good effluent quality and less sludge
* Short hydraulic retention time and small footprint
* Easy to clean, easy to replace, stable operation, low operating cost
* Strong impact resistance, high COD and chroma removal efficiency

Membrane-coagulation chemical reactor (MCR process), which is a new type of wastewater treatment process developed by Tianchuang Company on the basis of MBR process. The MC process combines the chemical coagulation process with the membrane separation process, and uses the membrane to replace the sedimentation tank in the coagulation reaction, which plays the role of mud-water separation.

Advantages of MCR process:
* Reduced sedimentation tanks and reduced floor space
* Improve the reaction efficiency of traditional chemical coagulation
* Compared with traditional chemical coagulation, no need to add chemicals
* Good water quality, flexible and easy operation
